Traveling south of Erbil I stopped and stayed for a couple of days in a little village very close to Lake Dukan, which is about 80 km south-east of Kurdistans capital of Erbil. The residents of this village were kind of poor and gained their income with agriculture and livestock. Every day they are migrating with their many goats into the surrounding areas of their village.
The inhabitants of this village are living in easy homes withouth any kind of furniture. Their livestock consists mainly of goat and geese as well as a few donkeys and keeps them busy for seven days per week. They are very friendly and extremely hospitable.
