Fly-Fishing Courses
Since 2024 I am organizing fly casting lessons and fly fishing courses again.
For the future, I am planning to offer fly fishing trips to Scandinavia and some Balkan countries.
One of the best possibilities to learn flyfishing or fly casting is attending fly fishing or fly casting course.
More intense and more demanding are private hours which are guaranteeing the best results. Everything can be organized.
Beginners are best advised to attend a two day course. The theory and practice are changing in the course of the day in order to give you necessary rests in-between the casting exercises. Water casts like all spey casts and the roll cast are executed in the water.
Topics include gear & equipment, entomology and flies, casting practice, tactics, presentation, fighting and netting fish, useful knots among many others.
Advanced Fly-Fishermen can focus the content of their instruction according to the personal interests.
Instruction and practice is carried out on the lawn as well as in the water and might include a video analysis for better understanding and improvements.
Highly recommended is a personal casting practice and a following day on the water to correctly implement the newly learned techniques.
All questions about fly patterns or equipment, knots and personal questions will be topic of the course or casting lesson.
A personal training can always be booked.
Prices for a 2 to 2,5 day single handed or double handed fly fishing and fly casting course are 250 Euro.
Personal training is 65 Euro per hour.
Location at the river Lech around Landsberg. Other locations can always be arranged.
