In order to find these places, it was necessary to fish in New Zealand for several whole seasons. A keen local fly fisherman is fishing about 30 full days in one season, besides other engagements like work, family… .
Hence, a local fisherman has to fish for approximately 5 years, in order to explore the same areas and collect similar experiences, compared to someone, who is visiting and fishing for one whole season.
