On my way from the coast of the turkish Black Sea to Ankara I stopped in the city of Kastamonu and a little later in the village of Korgun.
Kastamonu is a bigger city with a beautiful castle which offers scienic views over the city.
In order to get drinking water I stopped approximately 75 km south of Kastamonu in a village named Korgun. The superbly hospitality of turkish people, I met at a public water and washing place, was leading to several invitations for lunch, dinner and breakfast, and presents in form of fresh fruits and vegetables, turkish people are growing in their gardens.
Visiting local people in countries you are traveling through gives an avid traveller possibilities to immerge into different cultures, religions, architecture, life style and -standard, etc..
